Our Executive Team comprises of three members, Pamela Hosein, Curtis Cummings, Gilbert Reyes.

Mrs. Pamela Hosein Chief Executive Officer, Director

Pamela Hosein is highly skilled and qualified in strategic management with over 30 years of experience in the private security industry. She has championed quality and safety initiatives throughout her working career as an accomplished leader in policy and strategy development with sound knowledge and extensive practice in corporate governance. Pamela holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA); she is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP); a Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer and a Certified ISO Quality Lead Auditor.is. She has actively participated in many groups that shape and influence the private security industry including The Forum For Enhancing The Regulation, Oversight And Governance Of The Private Security Industry In The Caribbean Region, Feb 2019; Consultation For The National Occupational Safety And Health Policy, April 2019; Parliament of T&T Joint Select Committee on Private Security Industry Bill, August 2019; UNLIREC Executive Seminar on Good Practices and International Standards in the Private Security Sector October 2019. Pamela currently serves as the Chairman of ASIS International, POS Chapter. She formerly served as a Director with the International Code of Conduct for Private Security Companies (ICoCA), Switzerland, 2015-2016, representing PSCs worldwide, with exception of US and UK; at ICoCA she extended her services to the Working Group on Policy Development. She is associated with several volunteer community groups in Trinidad & Tobago and is founder of the Charity: "Kids in School Support (K.I.S.S.) Program". She has been recognized in 2018 by the International Organization for Top Professionals, IAOTP of New York, as the "Top Professional in the Private Security Industry" and was again honored by IAOTP as "Empowered Woman of the Year 2019" and was profiled in the ASIS International Security Magazine October 2019 Issue as a highly achieved security professional. Pamela is the Chief Executive Officer of Amalgamated Security Services Limited - a full-service security provider offering guarding, secure transportation, investigations, monitoring and response, electronic security, and executive services, based in Trinidad and Tobago and operating in seven Caribbean Islands with more than 5000 employees.

Mr. Gilbert Reyes Executive Manager Corporate & Crime Specialist, Director

With over forty-three (43) years in the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service and retired as the Acting Deputy Police Commissioner, Mr. Reyes has been with ASSL for the past eleven (11) years. He has made great strides in improving of our Crime Prevention Tactics and aided in designing our Investigations Methodology. Mr. Reyes is also a liaison between ASSL and the Ministry of National Security and the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.

Mr. Curtis Cummings Chief Operations Officer, Director

Curtis Cummings began his Amalgamated Security Services journey as a Security Officer at its office in Kelly Kenny Street, Woodbrook. There, under the guidance of Mr. Michael Aboud, he learnt many important values and displayed profound morale, discipline and dedication to duty. Embracing the core values of the organization i.e. innovation, integrity, duty and respect, Curtis progressed through the ranks from Bodyguard to Corporal then Sergeant to Inspector followed by ASP to Chief Security Officer and presently to Chief Operations Officer. Having provided the organization with 30 years of service, his extensive knowledge, camaraderie and experience as a security professional undeniably earned him the honorable position he also has today a Member of the Executive and Director of Amalgamated Security Services Limited. In his three decades at Amalgamated Security Services Limited, he contributed firsthand to the growth of the organization, making his mark into ASSL's history with significant contributions in the Cash in Transit Unit and Motorpool. He also served during the 1990 Coup. Continuing along his path of succession, Curtis was awarded a scholarship to pursue Tactical Training and Instructor Level Certification delivered by the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) which he successfully completed and is Certified as a Less Lethal Instructor. Later on in the 3rd decade he pursued and succeeded in the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) Certification. Curtis is also a National Safety Council Certified Defensive Driving Instructor with Amalgamated Security.

Mr. Ashish Uttamchandani Group Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer

Ashish is a results-oriented senior executive leveraging over 15 years of experience in leadership, strategy, general management, technology, business development and consulting across various industries, including security, hospitality, ICT, distribution, retail, technology and manufacturing. Experience and a proven track record of managing P&Ls, growing revenue and EBITA, launching strategic initiatives, managing large/multi-year projects, driving market share growth and helping organizations to solve complex business challenges. Currently, he holds the position of Group Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer at the ASSL Group. In this role, he directs strategy, operations, and business development for a varied portfolio of Caribbean-based companies within the ASSL Group, spanning investments in Security, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Hospitality, and Property Management. Before joining the ASSL Group, he served as the Assistant Vice President and CTO for the Massy Integrated Retail Portfolio. In that capacity, he provided strategic guidance and oversight for Technology Strategy, Digital Transformation, Infrastructure, and eCommerce initiatives, covering both the Caribbean and the USA. Areas of Expertise Include: - Corporate Strategy - Mergers & Acquisitions - Business Development - Technology Strategy, Change Management & Project Management - General Management and P&L Leadership - Industry experience in ICT, Security, Retail & Distribution, Insurance, Manufacturing and CPG - International / CALA Experience - eCommerce He is a part-time lecturer at the University of the West Indies in the areas of Leadership & New Venture Development. He is also a member of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce’s Digital Societies Committee. He was a columnist for the Barbados Business Authority and the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation and sat on several non-profit boards including the Project Management Institute Barbados, and was an advisor with the Barbados Entrepreneurship Foundation. Ashish holds a MBA from Durham University Business School, UK and a MSC. Change and Development from the University of Manchester, UK. He holds a Diploma in Professional Consulting from the Chartered Management Institute, UK. In his spare time, Ashish enjoys reading, travelling and performing research in culture and change management.
