The Executive, Management and Staff of Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL) welcome Mrs. Pamela Hosein as their new Chief Executive Officer. During the Chairman’s Annual Cocktail Reception on the 18th of December 2018, Mrs. Hosein was inaugurated as CEO and pledged herself to “lead the company with insight from the founder’s vision while continuing to strengthen the pillars of success built by the predecessor”. The new CEO’s pledge highlighted among other things her commitment to employees, customers, directors and shareholders, to environmental and social responsibility and to good governance. Dr. Michael Aboud (hon), Founder and Executive Chairman of ASSL, had also filled the role of the company’s CEO since ASSL’s inception 35 years ago. When handing over this position to his successor in front of a very attentive audience, Dr. Aboud (hon) expressed his confidence that with Mrs. Hosein the right leader will be at the helm to guarantee the longevity and security of the company. Curtis Cummings, Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer, then was the first of many to assure the new CEO of his unrestricted support for her, on behalf of himself and his team.
Pamela Hosein joined Amalgamated Security in 1987 and as of today is highly skilled and qualified in strategic management with over 30 years of experience in the private security industry. She also has extensive practice in corporate governance and possesses sound competencies in business administration, financial analysis, operations oversight, and risk management. Mrs. Hosein is the holder of a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Lord Ashcroft International Business School, Anglia Ruskin University, UK; she is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), ASIS International; a Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer C)DRE, Mile2; and she is certified as an ISO Quality Lead Auditor (RABQSA) with formal training as a Quality Manager, American Society for Quality (ASQ).
Mrs. Hosein also is Chairman of ASIS International, Chapter 157. She served as Director with the International Code of Conduct for Private Security Companies (ICoCA), Switzerland, and member of their Working Group on Policy Development. She is founder of the Kids in School Support (K.I.S.S.) Program under ASIS Chairmanship. She has been recognized by the New York based International Organization for Top Professionals (IAOTP) as Top Professional of the Year 2018 for her longevity in the field, her accomplishments and education and was again honored on the 15th of December 2018 as Empowered Woman of the Year 2019.
