Amalgamated Security Services Limited Attended the Crime, Productivity & Economic Growth Seminar

Amalgamated Security Services Limited attended the Crime, Productivity & Economic Growth Seminar held at the Teaching & Learning Complex, The UWI, St. Augustine on Friday March 31st, 2023. The event was hosted by the Trade and Economic Development Unit of the Department of Economics, The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, in collaboration with the Confederation of Regional Business Chambers (CRBC). 

It was geared at discussing the impact of crime on the economy with focus on the business sector. Speakers at the seminar included: the Minister of National Security, Honorable Fitzgerald Hinds, the Commissioner of Police, Ms. Erla Harewood-Christopher, Professor Roger Hosein, Economist, Dr. Randy Seepersad, Criminologist, and Mr. Vivek Charran, Chairman of the Confederation of Regional Business Chambers. The session will be chaired by Former Principal of the St Augustine Campus, Dr Bhoe Tewarie.
