Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL) recently hosted its annual “Chairman’s Cocktail Reception” at Movie Towne’s Banquet and Conference Centre, Port of Spain. Over four hundred (400) invited guests attended the event.
In opening the festive evening, ASSL’s Chairman Dr. Michael Aboud (hon) used the opportunity to thank 70 retirees and to “salute you for your individual contributions and for being part of the Amalgamated A-Team. You helped us build what you see today – an organization with an unmatched reputation and an imperturbable drive to deliver excellent service”. When called on stage, the retirees received not only their retirement plaques and massive hampers, but also an Echo unit – a preprogrammed digital assistant that will enable the retirees to keep up-to-date on happenings within the company they contributed so much too. Depending on length of service retirees were furthermore treated to tablets and flatscreen TVs.
As further highlight of the evening, executives, directors, managers, coordinators, and staff members welcomed Mrs. Pamela Hosein as their new Chief Executive Officer. ASSL’s new CEO pledged herself to “lead the company with insight from the founder’s vision while continuing to strengthen the pillars of success built by the predecessor”. Chairman Dr. Aboud (hon) expressed his confidence that with Mrs. Hosein the right leader will be at the helm to guarantee the longevity and security of the company.
During its “2018 Chairman’s Cocktail Reception” Amalgamated Security Services Limited’s Dr. Michael Aboud (hon), handed out his ‘Chairman Special Awards’ to colleagues “who have excelled in their individual performances. If we as leaders don’t recognize them, then we have failed in our duty. Excellent work must be acknowledged and this is what I am attempting to do tonight”. In addition to individual top performers, two departments were awarded for their contributions to the company’s overall success. ASSL’s executive, management and staff congratulate each and every awardee.
