Amalgamated Security Savings Lives (ASSL) Hosts Tactical First Responder Training in Suriname

Amalgamated Security Savings Lives (ASSL) in collaboration with the Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police (ACCP) hosted a Tactical First Responder Training for Police Officers in Suriname. The training was conducted by Instructors from Amalgamated Security Services Limited - Mr. Edgar Aboud and Mr. Hugh Beguesse. Forty (40) police officers were trained on the following topics:

  • Self-Management
  • Stress Management
  • Cover Awareness
  • Approaching to Danger
  • Building Entries and Search, 
  • Vehicle Stop Search
  • Search and the use of Handcuffs
  • Clearing Hallways
  • Clearing Stairways
  • Use of Torchlight
  • Low Light Tactics
  • Verbal Commands
  • Color Codes 
  • Ten Deadly Error

Standard First Aid Training

Maximum participants: 20
Duration: 8 hours

Amalgamated Security Services is approved by the National Safety Council (NSC) of the United States of America as a Public Training Agency to deliver Standard First Aid training. The lecturers in these areas have successfully completed their theoretical and instructor level training and are certified by NSC Training Centres in the USA. After successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate issued by the National Safety Council of the United States of America. The Standard First Aid course includes choking, CPR and the use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and further encompasses the following:

CEVO III Fire (Coaching the Emergency Vehicle Operator III - Fire)

Maximum participants: 20
Duration: 8 hours

The lecturers in these areas have successfully completed their theoretical and instructor level training and are certified by NSC Training Centres in the USA.  After successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate issued by the National Safety Council of the United States of America.
