Amalgamated Security Services Limited, Anthony Joseph Foundation Awards 70 Employee's Children with Grants.

The Anthony Joseph Foundation was established in 2016 by Dr. Michael Aboud, Executive Chairman of Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL), in honor of the late Cpl. Chairman of Amalgamated Security Services Limited, Dr. Michael Aboud’s Speech

Good day everyone,

It is my honour to stand before you today as we commemorate one of Amalgamated Security’s fallen heroes, Anthony Joseph, through the Anthony Joseph Foundation. Anthony was not just a founding officer of this great company; he was a man of unwavering commitment and courage. He gave his life in the line of duty while responding to an alarm, an act that speaks volumes of his dedication and the values he stood for. He was instrumental in the growth of Amalgamated Security, and his legacy lives on through this foundation.

For those of you who may be learning about the foundation for the first time today, it was established in Anthony’s memory, with a focus on a cause that was very dear to him—education. Anthony was passionate about giving his children the best opportunities in life, and we often spoke privately about the importance of education and personal growth. Today, through this grant, we honour his memory by supporting your educational journey, just as he would have wanted.

To the children here today, I congratulate you for your hard work and dedication in your studies, especially in preparing for the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) Exam. This grant of $500 is a recognition of your efforts, and I encourage you to use it as a stepping stone toward achieving your dreams. My advice to you is simple: aim high. Stay focused on your goals and do not let anything distract you from the path to success. Remember that education is the foundation of your future, and every step you take brings you closer to the person you are destined to become.

I would also like to take a moment to acknowledge the parents, guardians, and loved ones who have supported each and every one of you on this journey. The sacrifices they have made to give you the best chance in life cannot go unnoticed. We owe them our deepest gratitude for their love, guidance, and tireless support.

As we move forward, may God continue to bless our nation and all of us. May He grant us the wisdom to make the right choices and protect us from harm, as we honour Anthony’s memory by walking the path of service, integrity, and dedication.

Finally, I want to thank the organizers for their hard work in putting together this event. Your efforts have ensured that Anthony’s legacy continues to inspire us all, year after year.

Thank you, and may you all continue to shine as you pursue your dreams.
