St. Anthony’s Men Can Cook Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL) continues to support its surrounding communities and organizations. In this context ASSL has participated in the “St. Anthony’s Tigers Who Can Cook” event held on Saturday 6th of July at the St. Anthony College Grounds. ASSL along with other companies and individuals sponsored a variety of food items and drinks for the event. Through the sale of tickets the St. Anthony’s Old Boys Alumni were able to raise funds to assist the College in various projects associated to the enhancement of the school facilities and the ongoing optimization of educational offers. On the day of the cookout ASSL’s presence was voted the overall best decorated tent. The tent was also very interactive thanks to the Amalgamated Security Promotional Girls who served and entertained patrons both young and old. ASSL proudly offered four mouth-watering Arabic delicacies to patrons and contributed to the overall smooth and enchanting atmosphere of the evening. Visitors were also entertained by a live DJ and popular musical artists who included Wendell Constantine and the St. Anthony’s School band. All and all it was a well spent evening with good company, great family atmosphere and glorious food – all for a good cause.

Amalgamated Receives the Prestigious Organizational Award of Merit from ASIS International’s Professional Certification Board (PCB)

With this award ASIS International recognizes ASSL as an organization that has shown outstanding leadership and commitment to the professional development of its security professionals through ongoing training, certification and self-development. The award furthermore acknowledges ASSL’s significant contributions towards the advancement of ASIS certification programs in co-operation with ASIS’ local chapter. During ASIS International’s 2013 Annual Seminar in Chicago, IL, the Organizational Award of Merit was presented to ASSL as one of only three security organizations worldwide.
Andre Coore Appointed General Manager of Amalgamated Barbados

Michael Aboud appoints Andre Coore General Manager of Amalgamated Security Services (Barbados) Ltd. Coore is a former regional manager with the Guardsman Group in Jamaica. Coore have an MBA from Nova Southeastern University and a BSc in management from Northern Caribbean University. According to a release, he oversaw security detail for most of Jamaica’s major hotel chains.
