On 9 September 2019, the British High Commission launched its 2nd Security Awareness Week – Security Awareness for Everyone (SAFE). Following a successful week in 2018, SAFE Week 2019 focuses on self-defence training, active drills and a security awareness programme tailored to women. The launch reception, held at the High Commissioner’s Residence, brought together security representatives from the T&T Defence Force, the T&T Police Service, the diplomatic community and the private sector to share challenges, build stronger networks and breakdown silos.
