In 2018 Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL) hosted its 15th Annual Children’s Christmas Party with this year’s theme being ‘Pirates and Mermaids’. Over 400 children of ASSL employees and from various children homes came together at ASSL’s Corporate Headquarters for an afternoon of fun and entertainment. The event saw characters from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and Ariel from the Mermaids spread cheer and take pictures with the young patrons, whilst the children enjoyed games such as Walking the Plank; Pirate Bean Bag; Pirate Hook Toss; Pirate Tin Can Alley and Finding Lost Treasure in the Lucky Dip.
As a highlight of the afternoon, and after having seen Santa arrive on a fire truck escorted by a motorcyclist from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, each child received a gift from Santa and was treated with party bags and other items. The event brought together ASSL employees and friends to celebrate the joy of the season and most of all to put a smile on each child’s face.
