Making the presentation to Commissioner of Police Mr. Seelall Persaud DSM in the presence of Crime Chief , Senior Superintendent Wendell Blanhum and other Officers of the Force’s Performance Group, in the Commissioner’s Conference Room, Eve Leary; was Dr. Maurice Aboud, a Director and the Chief Forensic and Criminalistics Officer of the Amalgamated Security Services Limited of Trinidad and Tobago, which is a private Forensic Laboratory that offers a number of security services to Caribbean countries.

Dr. Aboud who is a Forensic Scientist and who was accompanied by Mr. Wayne Clarke, Manager of Amalgamated Security Services Inc. in Guyana, told the gathering that the donation is part of his company’s initiative with the Association of the Caribbean Commissioners of Police Program, whereas every year a forensic kit is handed over to a member country that needs it most and more importantly, he personally goes and makes the donation as he has done in Guyana’s case.

The Forensic Scientist used the opportunity to do a presentation on a wide range of security services his company offers which include DNA Testing, Mobile Forensic, Forensic Toxicology and Trace Evidence."

World Environmental Day 2017!!

WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL DAY 2017!!

World Environment Day is the United Nations’ most important day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action for the protection of our environment. Above all, World Environment Day is the ‘people’s day’ for doing something to take care of the Earth or become an agent of change. That ‘something’ can be focused locally, nationally or globally; it can be a solo action or involve a crowd – everyone is free to choose.

Amalgamated Security Services Limited recognizes the importance of the environment and the roll and function each human being plays in ensuring the preservation of nature and by extension our existence. The Health and Safety Department is tasked with educating employees and providing information to promote environmental awareness.

ASSL’S HSE Department is promoting a poster competition to its internal staff for the month of June 2017 in support of this year’s theme “Connecting People to Nature”. Please see details below.
