Success of Archangel Ambulance

Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL) recognised and applauded Andrew Hackshaw, for making the Chairman's dream into a reality by taking the concept of an ambulance service and turning it into Archangel Ambulance Service Limited.

Andrew Hackshaw joined ASSL in 1998; he previously held the position of Acting Deputy Chief Fire Officer in the Trinidad & Tobago Fire Service. Along with the Archangel team, he has created a niche in the health sector with Archangel Ambulance Service.

Amalgamated Security presented Andrew Hackshaw with a Special Award of Excellence in recognition of his dedication and hard work in developing the ambulance service.

Training & Development

Amalgamated Security Services Limited continued its drive to remain the premier security company within the Caribbean region. Four of its officers awarded scholarships to pursue Tactical Training and Instructor Level Certification delivered by the world renowned National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) in Orlando, Florida. 

The Officers were all successful in their respective programmes and received awards as follows:

  • Curtis Cummings - Less Lethal Instructor Certification
  • Ricardo Laborde - Shoothouse Instructor Certification and Response to Terrorism
  • Patrick Mc Sween - SWAT Management and Technology
  • Anthony Alexander - Rappel Instructor Certification

 


Amalgamated Security Services Conducts Training for St. George's University

Amalgamated Security Services conducts a two-week training security program for forty one members of the St. George's University Security Unit in Grenada. On Saturday, 18th December 2004 graduated at the Bell Lecture Hall. Course Director, Dr. Jason Hernandez, disclosed that the program was designed with the specific needs of the university in mind.
